Policy

Every Chaos & Mischief garment is a unique, individually produced artifact. This shapes what is and is not possible when it comes to returns.

Personalised Goods: No Standard Return

Each garment is produced specifically for your order. At the point of purchase, an irreversible process begins: a unique identifier is generated and permanently assigned to your garment, a unique print file is created, and production begins. The garment cannot be resold or reassigned to another buyer.

Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)), the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to a consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. Chaos & Mischief garments fall within this exemption.

By placing an order you acknowledge that your garment is individually and uniquely produced on your behalf, and that the right of withdrawal is excluded on this basis.

Defective or Incorrect Items

This exclusion does not affect your statutory rights where a product is defective, damaged, or materially different from what was ordered. If your garment arrives:

• Damaged or defective through no fault of your own
• With a print defect that constitutes a genuine quality failure
• In the wrong size relative to what was ordered

Contact us within 14 days of receipt at theboss@chaosandmischief.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs. We will assess your claim and, where valid, offer a replacement or full refund. We bear return shipping costs for verified defective items.

Wrong Item Delivered

If you receive a garment that does not match your order (wrong design, wrong size), contact us within 14 days. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.

Lost or Undelivered Orders

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, contact us and we will investigate with our fulfilment partner. If the order is confirmed lost in transit, we will send a replacement or issue a full refund.
